By striking the singing bowl with a felt mallet, you create a long-lasting, harmonic tone. The softer the felt of your mallet, the softer and deeper the sound. Use soft felt mallets for thin-walled singing bowls and medium or hard felt mallets for thick-walled bowls. Felt mallets are often used in sound massage for striking therapy singing bowls.
